Weekly Project Infrastructure team meeting

The OpenDev Team holds public weekly meetings in #opendev-meeting on OFTC, Tuesdays at 1900 UTC. Everyone interested in infrastructure and process surrounding automated testing and deployment is encouraged to attend.

  • Upgrading Bionic servers to Focal/Jammy (clarkb 20230214)

    • Gitea09 has been launched
      • Ended up using a modern vexxhost v3 flavor with 32GB of memory and 8vcpus. No BFV. Can probably replace 8 old servers with ~4 new servers of this size.
      • Ansible deployed a gitea on it
      • clarkb manually copied the database over from gitea01 and applied it to gitea09 for redirects
      • clarkb also copied logo files for unused org names to keep their logos showing up
      • Gerrit is currently (should be done by the meeting) syncing git repos to gitea09

  • Quo vadis storyboard (frickler 20230214)

    • Clarkb needs to resync on this but then we should make some decisions.
  • Handing over x/virtualpdu to OpenStack Ironic PTL (fungi 20230228)
    • The Ironic team has received agreement from a current maintainer, but since ghosted; proposing a communication plan to move forward.
