*** Meetpad is done. Just need to clean up old servers when we feel confident we won't rollback.

*** What is next?
*** Running container with dedicated users. Next up all the ircbots.

** AFS Mirror cleanups (clarkb 20240220)
*** Upgrading Zookeeper
+
*** Ubuntu Xenial cleanups are starting to show up under topic:drop-ubuntu-xenial
*** Upgrading MariaDB
+
*** Can followup with webserver log processing to determine which other mirrors may be dead.
*** Eventually convert MariaDB container's from uid 999 to something that makes more sense on the system.
+
** Building Ubuntu Noble Nodes (clarkb 20240416)
** Spring cleaning for old reviews? (frickler 20220301)
+
*** Next step is to add Noble to our mirrors
*** system-config has >300 open reviews, most of them in merge-conflict and >1y old
+
** Gerrit 3.9 Upgrade Planning (clarkb 20240423)
*** https://etherpad.opendev.org/p/opendev-repo-retirements List of repos to retire. Please review for any that are inappropriate to remove.

*** Upgrade prep notes are going in https://etherpad.opendev.org/p/gerrit-upgrade-3.9
*** https://review.opendev.org/q/topic:retirement+status:open Changes to retire all unused the repos.
+
*** https://www.gerritcodereview.com/3.9.html Release Notes
*** Once the above changes land we'll abandon related changes and then remove the repos from zuul entirely.
+
*** Downgrade is possible with an offline reindex using the old war.
** Gitea 1.16 (clarkb 20220301)
+
*** Things to think about:
*** https://review.opendev.org/c/opendev/system-config/+/828184 Change to upgrade to 1.16.x when we are ready.
+
**** Do we want to enable diff3 diffs on merge changes?
*** Bug fixes for diffs will be in 1.16.3 as well as some dependency updates. Probably worth waiting for 1.16.3.
+
**** Change topic limit seems to only apply to open changes. Being over the limit doesn't seem to impact the upgrade process
*** There are changes to how docker container processes are started. In particular change log calls out this may affect ssh. We update our testing to push content via ssh to simulate gerrit replication to cover this.
+
**** https://gerrit-review.googlesource.com/c/gerrit/+/424404 Upstream change to have release war build target without webfonts
** Rocky Linux 8 Images (clarkb 20220301)
+
**** There is a new batched ref updated event that collects multiple ref updated events in a single event. This is disabled by default, but could one day impact zuul. Work sorting out likely.
*** Need to update DIB in our nodepool images https://review.opendev.org/c/zuul/nodepool/+/831108
+
*** Server could stand to be upgraded as well but I think it is probably best to decouple these concerns.
** zuul-registry bugs affecting system-config (clarkb 20220301)
+
** Cleaning up the openstack.org DNS zone (fungi 20240514)
*** There are issues with concurrent uploads to zuul-registry. We notice them when making updates to Gerrit because we build multiple images with shared layers.
+
*** Proposed for deletion: https://paste.opendev.org/show/bVHJchKcKBnlgTNRHLVK/
*** https://review.opendev.org/c/zuul/zuul-registry/+/831235 should hopefully address these problems in zuul-registry.
