Action Items
Number | Owner | Description |
| Pete Mackinnon | Make redstack work for fedora |
| Nikhil | "Documentation. Ensure that if a spec merges that has DocImpact (either new API or change to existing) we have a bug in the system to track that. If this is a message that should be broadcast to folks, it should be included in the summary of the mid-cycle email you send out." |
| Nikhil | Code review process. Have a section during the weekly meeting to gauge the pulse of reviews, tying in with keeping the momentum of them going, and motivating folks to do more reviews. (potentially graph week-over-week review numbers). |
| Nikhil | Better Communication: Better communication of discussions that we had here (+ other meetings) to the trove community |
| Amrith | Come up with a mechanism to measure and hit a target of the momentum metric that Morgan mentioned. |
| Amrith | Enterprise readiness, improvements re: execute(). This work item is assigned to amrith and the bugs 1361622, 1360954, 1365736, and 1343657 track various parts of this issue. |
| Amrith | Trove Roadmap |
| Shayne | Trove Roadmap |
| Doug | Trove Guest Agent to its own module. update the blueprint above to indicate that this will only relate to making the guest agent its own directory and not a new repository. Per the discussion at the mid-cycle we feel that we need to have another discussion about the new repository and a this point the cons of splitting it into its new repository outweigh the pros. |
| Simon Chang | Trove Guest Agent to its own module. remove references to splitting guest agent into its own repository from the specification above. |
| Nikhil | Use native Openstack heat resources in trove templates. This came from etherpad https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/trove-kilo-sprint-blueprints-bugs. Nikhil to follow up with Pavlo to find out reason for workflow -1 and get status. |
| Morgan | Updated the replication (v2) spec with the comment from the review |
| Steve Leon | Galera Cluster specification, multiple comments from the review relating to the API. |
| Denis | Update Cassandra Clustering spec and implementation to reflect discussion regarding API. I've updated his reviews to reflect this. |
| Doug | Updated the scheduled tasks specification on https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Trove/scheduled-tasks to reflect the etherpad discussion. |
| Edmond | Make int-tests idempotent see launchpad https://bugs.launchpad.net/trove/+bug/1419817 |
| Amrith | Make int-tests in fake mode more reliable, two existing launchpad bugs exist. |
| Nikhil | Amrith would like some help on 1378083 and its listed review (https://review.openstack.org/#/c/126698). This is the bug about the spurious backtraces in fake mode testing after we incorporated the new framework for testing. |
| Amrith & Nikhil | Make a proposal for the 3rd party CI including a baseline of upstream tests, guidance on how to set this up etc., |
| Amrith | Updated all datastores other than Percona to an 'experimental' directory. Action I have submitted https://review.openstack.org/#/c/154119/ |
| Nikhil | In https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/trove-kilo-sprint-state-of-ci at or about line 40, you made a comment "Current functional-dsvm-gate job running int-tests". I'm not sure what you meant but I think you should follow up since it seems like an issue you were mentioning and we need to follow up on it. |
| Nikhil | Check out Tempestlib to see how we may be able to use it in our project to run functional tests |
| Anna | In the conversation on CI at https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/trove-kilo-sprint-state-of-ci, a note about grenade work that Anna is doing. |
| Doug | In re: trove metadata (https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/trove-kilo-sprint-metadata). See number of comments in etherpad. I have also updated https://review.openstack.org/#/c/82123/ |
| Amrith | Update oslo incubator before Kilo |
| Amrith | Re: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/150709/ do we need to do this now? Follow up with #openstack-oslo/doug. Per that conversation, I've marked the patch -2 |
| Edmond | Edmond to run os profiler on the task manager at least the trove create call and see how useful it is and what is going on there. |
| Nikhil | Follow up on os-profiler patch to find out what's up |
| Peter Stachowski | Run the os-profiler patch and see what it can show us. |
| Amrith | Change dsvm-functional-mysql to be gating. I've pushed review https://review.openstack.org/#/c/154072/ |
| Nikhil | Please review https://review.openstack.org/#/c/154072/ |
| Edmond | Update python-troveclient documentation: patch 1 merged https://review.openstack.org/#/c/155166/ |
