Contributor Experience WG
The Contributor Experience Working Group (CEWG) is a TC working group with a mandate to improve the contributor experience across the OpenStack community. It is delegated authority over contributor recognition, community health, and contributor onboarding.

Scope
- Contributor Recognition
- Making non-code contributions visible and ensuring that contributors beyond code authors are recognized within the project's governance.
- Community Health
- Understanding the state of OpenStack's contributor base: who contributes, in what roles, how retention and responsiveness are trending, and where capacity is concentrated or at risk.
- Contributor Onboarding
- Owning the strategy for how new contributors find their way into the project. The CEWG absorbs the mission of the former First Contact SIG.
