Technical Committee Tracker

The OpenStack Technical Committee is one of the governing bodies of the OpenStack project. You can find more information about it, such as the list of its current members or its governance charter, on the OpenStack TC governance website at https://governance.openstack.org/tc/ .

Leadership

  • Status: New patchset expected soon

  • Status: Ready for review

New project teams

• LOCI - OCI images for OpenStack [3]
  • Status: Voting in progress, missing a couple of votes
• Mogan - Bare Metal Compute Service [4]
  • Status: Frozen until session at Sydney forum
• Add Stackube project team [5]
  • Status: Frozen until progress is made on the OpenStack map / buckets initiative

Inclusion & Diversity

• Update house rules to reflect absence of meetings [6] (cmurphy)
  • Status: Voting in progress, missing one vote
• Replace UC or TC-side "workgroups" by neutral "SIGs" to encourage wide participation (mrhillsman, ttx)

  • Status: New SIGs are being created
  • Next step: Forum session to discuss proper promotion of created SIGs on events, documentation and websites.
