Meeting Times

Overview

On average there are 22 attendees to the weekly Solum Team Meetings, sometimes as many as 30 or more. We have participants in many timezones, and are exploring ways to allow our core reviewers to attend the meetings regularly, without inconveniencing the majority of the participants. There is no easy answer here. No matter what time we select, someone will be inconvenienced. Note that the majority of out attendees are in the US/Pacific and US/Central timezones. Some ideas are expressed below.

Current Time

This is when we currently meet. Current-Meeting-Time.png

Option 1

This time is Midnight for two of our contributors in India, and one core reviewer, and 6:00 AM for another core reviewer in Australia. Proposed-Meeting-Time-1.png

Option 2

This time is 9:00 PM Central time (for about 10 of our regular meeting attendees), and 4:00 AM for two of our active contributors in France. Proposed-Meeting-Time-2.png

Proposal

Use Option 1, alternating every second week, and keep the current meeting time for the alternating week.
