Summary (one sentence abstract of the project): Scalr is a cloud management platform, aimed at easing the management and administration of cloud resources through a web-based interface.

Detailed Description:

Purpose & Vision: Scalr's goal is to make managing applications in the cloud easy. This is done by combining a lightweight and fast web-based interface with an automation framework that provides failover, redundancy, and automatic scaling.

Relevance to OpenStack: Scalr allows users to manage cloud resources provided by OpenStack Compute and Storage, such as block storage, instances, ip addresses, and snapshots. Users can also manage application resources such as releases, backups, and server configuration.

Infrastructure requirements (testing, etc): None thus far.
