Nova roughly follows the general scheduler: Mitaka_Release_Schedule

  • Dec 1-3: mitaka-1
  • Dec 3: spec freeze
  • Jan 19-21: mitaka-2
  • Jan 21: non-priority feature freeze
  • Jan 26-28: Nova Midcycle (TBC)
  • Feb 25: FinalLibraryRelease, and feature proposal freeze
  • Mar 1-3: mitaka-3, and FeatureFreeze, SoftStringFreeze, RequirementsFreeze, FinalClientLibraryRelease
  • Mar 15-17: RC1 and HardStringFreeze
  • April 7, 2016: Mitaka Release
