• Havana Feature Proposal Freeze is in effect.
• It is important that the proposers be responsive to reviews as code needs to be merged by the end of the day September 4th.
• Code for blueprints not accepted into Havana will receive a -2 until Icehouse opens. Icehouse will open around Sept 26th when RC1 is cut.

Networking in Horizon (amotoki)

• Thanks for releasing the new neutronclient. neutronclient 2.2.6 has basic FWaaS and VPNaaS support.
• Last week I looked around Neutron related Horizon reviews. I will prioritize the community feature review (i.e. FWaaS and VPNaaS patch) this week.

  • FWaaS support (KC) -- Becoming good shape, but it seems more test in real environment.
  • VPNaaS support (Tatyana) -- Now catching up with the lastest VPNaaS change. It may be FFE candidate or delayed to IceHouse. It depends on VPN implementation status in Neutron (driver patch still in review).
  • Editable Network Topology View (Toshi) Merged

• H3 items (plugin specific)
  • https://review.openstack.org/#/c/35528/ Adds router rules support to router details (from BigSwitch) -- Needs more unittest coverage
  • https://review.openstack.org/#/c/39739/ Add Cisco N1K plugin support in Horizon -- it seems to need more discussion about the overall structure.

• Quota Extension in Neutron
  • Floating IP quota not coming from Quantum https://bugs.launchpad.net/horizon/+bug/1109140
  • https://bugs.launchpad.net/neutron/+bug/1204956
  • Get/Edit default quota through the API. Nova and Cinder support this feature and Horizon use it.
  • https://blueprints.launchpad.net/horizon/+spec/network-quotas : (begin fixed as bug fixes related to the above)
