Mistral Team

Renat Akhmerov (rakhmerov in IRC)

Senior Software Engineer at Mirantis. His primary expertise is distributed computing and HPC, Concurrent Programming, Java, Spring and In-Memory Data Grids (GridGain, GemFire, Coherence) as well as significant experience in framework development. Since the very beginning of the project he’s been actively contributing in both architecture design and implementation. He’s also been working as a community lead and presenting the project publicly.

Nikolay Makhotkin (nmakhotkin in IRC)

Software Engineer at Mirantis. He has expertise in Hadoop and its components: MapReduce, Oozie, Hive and also in Java and building web-applications. He has worked on Mistral since its inception and implemented a lot of essential parts of Mistral.

Dmitri Zimine (dzimine in IRC)

Dmitri is a Chief Stormer at StackStorm, responsible for building operation automation. He has over a decade of experience in cloud management and datacenter automation, including VMware vSphere and Opalis Integration Server (now Microsoft System Center Orchestrator). Dmitri contributes his vision and experience in workflow and run-book automation to drive the project.

Anastasia Kuznetsova (akuznetsova in IRC)

Quality Assurance Engineer at Mirantis. Anastasia is now fully responsible for QA activities on Mistral including integration and pre-release testing.

Timur Nurlygayanov (tnurlygayanov in IRC)

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Mirantis. He is involved in Mistral project since its beginning. He tracks all Mistral-related activities: review all commits, bugs and blueprints for Mistral. Timur made major contribution to automated tests for Mistral.

Winson Chan (m4dcoder in IRC)

Solution Architect at StackStorm. He has experience developing, deploying, and operating distributed automation and management solutions for enterprise scale private clouds. He has studied and worked with OpenStack since Essex and has development experience with Heat and contributed to a number of bugs and blueprints.
