Weekly Nova team meeting

MEETING TIME: Thursdays alternating 14:00 UTC (#openstack-meeting) and 21:00 UTC (#openstack-meeting)

This meeting is a weekly gathering of developers working on OpenStack Compute (Nova). We cover topics such as release planning and status, bugs, reviews, and other current topics worthy of real-time discussion.

NOTE: this wiki page should be 'emptied' at the end of each meeting.

    • Implementation: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/625216/ ( "libvirt: Support native TLS for migration and disks over NBD"). It already has a +2 (thanks, Gibi); and functional test evidence—FWIW, it is also independently functionally tested by a TripleO developer (thanks, Martin Schuppert).
    • Mel and others have reviewed this before the Christmas/NY break, and said this would be accepted for Stein
  • (melwitt): Spec or specless bp for this? https://blueprints.launchpad.net/nova/+spec/libvirt-disable-pmu-for-realtime-guests (sean-k-mooney)
    • I was thinking this needs a spec because it's proposing the addition of a new flavor extra spec. Thoughts?
    • This spec/bp is seeking approval before spec freeze at EOD.
