Weekly Project Infrastructure team meeting

The OpenDev Team holds public weekly meetings in #opendev-meeting on OFTC, Tuesdays at 1900 UTC. Everyone interested in infrastructure and process surrounding automated testing and deployment is encouraged to attend.

    • Update testing to test 3.6 to 3.7 upgrade.
  • Nox (clarkb 20230110)
    • Nox is a tox alternative.
    • Uses simple directives and standard tools like pip and virtualenv to do installations
    • Clarkb would like to convert OpenDev repos to Nox to avoid Tox v4 migration issues and problems.
  • Service Coordinator Election
    • Nomination Period January 31, 2023 - Feburary 14, 2023 (Roughly 6 months after the previous nomination period).
  • Linaro Cleanup/Move (clarkb 20230110)
    • We need to migrate the nodepool builder node. Less disk in new linaro cloud makes this tricky. We have asked if we can host this in OSUOSL.
  • Upgrading Bionic servers to Focal/Jammy (clarkb 20230110)
