Weekly Project Infrastructure team meeting

The OpenDev Team holds public weekly meetings in #opendev-meeting on OFTC, Tuesdays at 1900 UTC. Everyone interested in infrastructure and process surrounding automated testing and deployment is encouraged to attend.

  • Tox v4 (clarkb 20221213)
    • Tox v4 recently released and is not compatible with many of our hosted repos.
    • zuul-jobs pinned tox in ensure-tox to <4 with a plan to uncap on the 22nd of December
    • We should proactively write changes to address the compatibility issues in preparation.

  • Winding down iweb nodepool provider (clarkb 20221213)
    • We need to shut this down by the end of the year, but many of us will be out at the very end of the year so we should start nowish.

    • Instead of a normal meeting why don't we have some fun
    • We can use meetpad and run a game or three on Game Board Arena if people are interested. Only one person needs a premium account to host everyone else and clarkb can sign up for one.
