Weekly Project Infrastructure team meeting

The OpenStack Project Infrastructure Team holds public weekly meetings in #openstack-meeting, Tuesdays at 1900 UTC. Everyone interested in infrastructure and process surrounding automated testing and deployment is encouraged to attend.

Please feel free to add agenda items (and your IRC nick in parenthesis).

Agenda for next meeting

    • Nodepool consuming requirements (ianw 15-Sep-2015)
      • pabelanger identified in https://review.openstack.org/#/c/223280/
      • nodepool will break with pip dependency issues when dib next releases
      • Proposal : consume requirements with nodepool -> https://review.openstack.org/#/q/topic:nodepool-global-req,n,z
        • presumably this was not done because nodepool operated outside the OpenStack ecosystem; however
        • nodepool is consuming projects that are based on global-requirements (dib)
        • nodepool is being packaged like everything else; version skew causes issues (particularly with zuul)
        • we have good testing with the dsvm test & functional tests
