* (amotoki) neutron-vpnaas-dashboard translation imports https://review.openstack.org/#/c/491201/

** Does any language team want to update fuzzy and untranslated strings?

** neutron-vpnaas-dashboard is unofficial project now and there is no Zanata support

** Japanese translation has been imported. we can merge more languages. want to update it? merge it as-is? no need for merge?

* (amotoki) is it a good way or bad? https://review.openstack.org/#/c/490979/

** This is a question for PTLs.

** The motivations of this proposal are:

*** the official data is better to be maintained in the git repo rather than the wiki.

*** @amotoki does not think switching from wiki to sphinx increase the burden of the PTL. The wiki table formatting is really tricky. Sphinx approach allows you to place a CSV file and copy-and-paste a new RST file. This makes things simpler.

Note: @amotoki cannot join the meeting due to schedule conflict with a local conference.

* Open reviews

** https://review.openstack.org/#/q/project:openstack/i18n+status:open

* Open bugs

** https://bugs.launchpad.net/openstack-i18n

** @amotoki thinks it is better to triage bugs during the meeting?

** zh-CN bug triaging is working?

*** 9 of 13 open bugs are on zh-CN

*** I have no idea unless no chinese members are involved? If no involvement, what should we do? Mark them as Incomplete?

*** http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack-i18n/2017-July/002977.html

*** https://bugs.launchpad.net/openstack-i18n/+bugs/?field.tag=simplified-chinese

*** Note that I usually ignore them by using the URL https://bugs.launchpad.net/openstack-i18n/+bugs/?field.tag=-simplified-chinese :p

** Bugs with Unknown status : Does anyone know the status of them? Can we mark them as Fix Released (or Incomplete)?

*** https://bugs.launchpad.net/openstack-i18n/+bug/1556772

*** https://bugs.launchpad.net/openstack-i18n/+bug/1586041

* Open blueprints

** https://blueprints.launchpad.net/openstack-i18n

*** https://blueprints.launchpad.net/openstack-i18n/+spec/python35-support

**** Testing can be postponed to the next cycle?

* Translation priority discussion

** @amotoki: Updates on the networking dashboards

*** Add neutron-fwaas-dashboard to the dashboard list (on Zanata)

**** fwaas dashboard was split out from horizon in Pike. If we do not want to lose translations for fwaas panel in the past releases, we need to translate it.

*** neutron-vpnaas-dashboard is unofficial project now and there is no Zanata support

**** amotoki is a maintainer of vpnaas dashbaord and has a plan to add translations manually (using msgmerge from stable/ocata and git review manually)

**** It is planned at least for Japanese. If some language teams are interested in this, I can support it.

* String freeze exception request

** http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack-dev/2017-August/120536.html

* Proposing a virtual sprint on Aug 15 01:00-09:00 UTC (@ianychoi)

** @ianychoi and @ujuc will do a sprint during Pycon 2017 Korea: https://www.pycon.kr/2017/program/sprint/9 (written in Korean)

** Of course, I18n team is welcome on #openstack-sprint IRC channel.

** FYI: virtual sprint - https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/VirtualSprints and https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/VirtualSprints#I18n_Team_Virtual_Midcycle_Sprint

* I18n core nomination

** Anyone recommended?
