Weekly team meeting

There is a public weekly meeting held in #openstack-meeting, Thursdays at 22:00 UTC, to discuss database usage within Openstack. This is not the DBaaS meeting. Historically, this was the NovaDB team meeting, but other projects share the same concerns, and with Grizzly there is ongoing work to create a shared db-common project. Everyone interested in database-related topics (API, consistency, performance, HA, etc) is encouraged to attend, and invited to add topics to the agenda under the "specific items" heading.

Agenda for next meeting

  • Ongoing projects
  • Action items from last week
    • devananda to create list of methods that enforce uniqueness // tables that need UNIQUE indexes
    • jog0 continue plugging leaking sqlalchemy objects
    • dripton post a (link to a) list of read_deleted instances to db-cleanup
  • Open discussion
