Manila Project Plan

1. Establish a code name (tentatively: manila)
2. Establish a github project (done -- https://github.com/bswartz/manila)
3. Establish a Launchpad project (in progress)
4. Identify components to move in Oslo and associated owners
5. Remove everything that's block-specific
6. Change all references to "cinder" to the new name
7. Test and stabilize resulting code
8. Integrate code into stackforge
9. Write tempest/other automated tests
10. Begin working on feature enhancements
    • Support in Horizon
    • Quota support
    • "volume_types" and filter scheduler support
    • Documentation
    • Additional drivers
    • Network plumbing
