Internationalisierung (I18N) ist wichtig, Openstack allgegenwärtig zu machen. Die Mission des Openstack I18n Teams ist es, Openstack allgegenwärtig zugänglich für Menschen aller Sprachhintergründe zu machen, durch Verbesserung der Openstack-Software- Internationalisierung, Übersetzungen bereitstellen, Aufrechterhalten einer Übersetzungsplattform und verwalten des Übersetzungsprozesses für eine bessere Qualität der Ergebnisse.

"Internationalisierung bedeutet in der Informatik beziehungsweise in der Softwareentwicklung, ein Programm so zu gestalten, dass es leicht (ohne den Quellcode ändern zu müssen) an andere Sprachen und Kulturen angepasst werden kann." - von Wikipedia.

Das OpenStack I18n Team übernimmt die Verantwortung für I18n und L10n in OpenStack. Unsere Arbeit beinhaltet:

• Übersetzungen von Dokumentationen, Nachrichten, Webseiten usw.
• Übersetzungsplattform pflegen und weiterentwickeln
• I18n Test

I18n Team begrüsst jegliche Art von Unterstützung.

Beitragen zu Übersetzungen

Wenn Sie bei den Übersetzungen helfen möchten, müssen Sie erst offizieller Übersetzer werden und einem Übersetzungsteam beitreten. Gehen Sie zur Übersetzungsseite, um mit den Übersetzungen zu beginnen. Sie können Übersetzungsaufgaben auf der Startseite finden oder kontaktieren Sie den Koordinator.

If you cannot find your local team, you can request to create a local translation team.

If you want to report translation errors, go to openstack-i18n in Launchpad and report bugs. Mark bugs with a tag "translation".

There are three different roles in a translation team.

• Coordinator: a privileged member in a translation team who can help in team management tasks, such as approving new members and reviewing contributions to that language. We also have task coordinators for specific tasks.
• Member (Translator) : a person who can submit translations.
• Reviewer: a person who can proofread translations and mark them as reviewed.

If you want to help to report or fix I18n bugs of OpenStack, go to openstack-i18n in Launchpad. Mark bugs with a tag "i18n".
