A vote for termie is a vote for the developers and the sysadmins and the packagers and the devops.

A vote for termie is also a vote for Joe Heck with whom termie will form a super being of unimaginable PTL powers (we complement well, okay?).

A vote for termie is a vote for freedom, a vote for the subversive, a vote for the future.

A vote for love.

Since the last elections, what areas have you focused on and what contributions have you made in order to improve your project?

Since the last elections I have focused on a successful ground-up rewrite of Keystone with the goals of reducing complexity, improving compatibility and bringing an overall air of pleasantness to the codebase. Additional details in my message to the openstack list: https://lists.launchpad.net/openstack/msg07610.html

Teaming up with Joe Heck (also nominated), I hope to provide strong technical leadership while keeping active dialog with those companies and projects that rely on Keystone to be robust and stable.

What are the most pressing/important issues facing your project?

Keystone's integral role in providing identity services for other projects puts it in a position where it can severely disrupt those other projects if bad decisions are made, our most pressing issue is preventing that from happening.

Towards that end, we intend to ensure strong integration testing and open discussion with other projects while keeping the project small and understandable.

What is your relationship to OpenStack & why is its success important to you and/or your company?

Well, I suppose I sort of started it (I'm one of the group who started Nova), so there's that. Watching the development of Nova and the rest of OpenStack has given me fairly unique insight into the successes and pitfalls of running a project, it is important to me that this project provides an example that can lead others in the future.
