Summary

Heat is an orchestration Openstack components help you to mange complex service deployment and horizontal scaling. Unlike the other OpenStack competent it has relative simple OpenStack API, but relative verbose language(HOT). Heat also provides minimal Amazon CouldFormation compatibility.
